A pond, a canoe and a sister.

So…its like 75 degrees outside, sunny and beautiful, and my sister and I decided to drag our heavy canoe across the yard and into our small little pond.

But we push it in the water and get in…and realize we forgot paddles, so…here we are..in a canoe, in a pond WITHOUT paddles.

 

So we just pulled our way along by branches and slimy weeds, so we thought…why not dance? …

I know i look ridiculous, you can laugh. i do quite often.

Then my sister thought it would be quite fun if she ate me.

Then…after she nearly ate me to death…she was like “Katie, let’s trade spots ok?” and me, being the innocent, nice, caring sister was like “ok! anything for you lizzy!” ….well not quite those words, but you know what i mean.

Anyway we trade on “three” cuz we gotta stand up and cross and everything…so we did, and it was all swell, until…we started paddeling with our boots, and we got close to this rock, she jumps out, and PUSHED me ACROSS the pond…by myself…in a canoe with no paddles.

 

Yeah…not cool.

but it was fun.

What A Glorious Day!

Today is SO wonderful outside!!

The sun is FINALLY showing her beautiful rays again

The crickets/frogs are singing their lovely songs, each note perfect.

The grass is getting green and smelling lovely, like grass.

The sky is blue. Blue and beautiful.

Just the smell in the air is wonderful!!

This is the day the Lord has made, let us REJOICE and BE GLAD in it!!! =)

Rejoice my friends! Be glad!!! The Creator of the universe made today…made THIS MOMENT for you to enjoy.

So enjoy today, thanking the Creator who made it wonderful and amazingly lovely.

So here I am…

Sitting at this computer, writing this, and its almost midnight, and i hear lovely lovely crickets outside in the pond..or are they frogs? hmm…but anywhoo…their sound is amazing…..i’m not really sure where i was going with that, but anyway…like i said its like 11:40ish and a lot of my friends and what not, they all went to this movie toinght, OPENER night, called forbidden kingdom and it looks really cool, but i’m not really much of a movie person, so i passed. plus, i don’t have a job.

but hopefully…that will all change soon, because i’m gunna put in a app at this REALLY small store by me…its so small that its almost creepy…so i’m kinda debating whether or not too…but i think i might as well. haha!

so i’ve been looking for acoustic electric guitars, and my neighbor got one off of ebay…a breedlove one, and its really an awesome guitar…and so i’ve been looking for a while now, and i found one like 5 days ago..and breedlove and it was beautiful and perfect…but then the crazyiness of ebay is the bidding and how much it can actually go up, it was at 300, and now its past 600 and still has a few days to go. wow. crazy stuff…..i guess i’ll just have to keep looking..haha…

 

so spring has sprung her lovely smells, temperature, and sounds. i’ve very much so excited. i love spring. its like…NEW! newness. new life. new hope. new joy. new everything. its absoblutely lovely. =]

and i’m very much so looking forward to when SCHOOL finally ends. oh goodness…its been long long lloooooooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggg.

also summer is going to be amazing. going to Worlds or Tang Soo Do, in Florida, then HOPEFULLY going to Sonshine..i really doubt it…since its SO close to worlds, but oh well.

Then random adventures with “the usual”…they’re always going to be the best!!

Higher Ground and Lifelight are two music festivals that i really want to go to because Sanctus Real is going to be at both!!! =) yay for sanctus!! hehe! they’re the best band ever…if you didn’t know. haha! but really they are. =)

So anyway…this blog [like all other blogs]has come to that dead point, where i just talk about anything and everything and nothing all at the same time. its actually quite wonderful for me, cuz i love to babble about anything, but for the reader [3 people that read this] it becomes quite the boring…so i think i shall stop. plus i still have some readings to do, and take a shower and its like 11:45.

soo goodnight. sleep tight. and don’t let them bed bugs bite. and if they do. beat them with a shoe, until they turn black and blue.

2007. i dont think 2008 can beat it.

so yes…its like past midnight now, and i was ABOUT to go to bed until i pulled up the media player and all these videos of 2007 were up and i just watched about 20 of them, and wow.

2007, you were one, if not THEE most fantastic, amazing year of my life.

Can i just do some re-caps on jsut SOME of the most amazing parts

-Ichthus, winning the VIP backstage passes and meeting TONS of bands and being backstage and just everything..incredible

-the WI cousins coming to visit. always good times!

-Ryoko, the coolest Japanese exchange student i’ve ever met in my life!! she’s the coolest person seriously! she’s awesome!! It was incredible because when she came, we still had the WI cousins over and it was a crazy awesome time!

-Sonshine. the most amazing year of sonshine. and sanctus real [the coolest guys ever!] giving us their backstage passes.

-Canoeing with goooooood good friends!!! =)

-Picnics in parks

-Random walks

-Late night gatherings with friends

-Awesome concerts meeting awesome people

And oh so many more things. Seriously 2007 was the best.

Can 2008 beat it?

Its true.

Yesterday, i had one of the most amazing drinks at Starbucks.

It was blended and amazinginess.
